How to reach?
There is an airport at Kariupur, 23 km from city centre. Calicut is well connected by rail and road from other major cities.

What to see?
Dolphin’s point - Here one can see dolphins playing in the sea in the early hours of morning.It has got a long stretch of tree lined sand beach. People enjoy the cool breeze in the evenings. Kappad Beach - It is here that Vasco-da-Gama set foot on 27 May, 1498 A.D. Kallai - One of the Asia’s largest timber trading centres. (6 km away from Calicut). Tellicherry and Sultan’s Battery.
