After breakfast After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up to proceed to see the Sultan's Palace, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century during their rule of the coastal cities of Oman. The next stop isthe Bait Al Zubair Museum. Opened in 1998, It is located in the old city of Muscat. The museum is a small townhouse that has been converted to display the old archaeological findings and Omani traditions such as Omani artifacts and collectables, including a group of conventional weapons, jewelers, clothing, household items and some old models representing Omani rural. From here you will drive to the Corniche. The Corniche is near the main Mina Al Sultan Qaboos port of Oman and theMuttrah souk. A short halt will allow you to visit the souq and stock up on all the typical Oman souvenirs that are sold in almost every shop!.The souk offers a wide range of goods, the Omani Dagger or Khanjar and beautiful silver handicrafts and Pashmina shawls.You will drive to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque for a photo stop. The Mosque is beautiful by night, as it is illuminated from all sides with floor spotlights and the grandeur of its architectural genius truly comes alive. Drive back to the hotel. Check and overnight.
